dragon slayer quest

Difficulty level: Hard Start location: Just outside Varrock, in the Champions guild. Speak to the Guild Master to start. Required: Skills: 32 quest points. Be good enough to beat a level 83 Dragon and a lesser demon(s). Items: 3 planks, 90 steel nails, Hammer, Unfired bowl, Wizard's mind bomb, Lobster pot, a piece of silk, and a good HIGH hitting 1 handed weapon. Suggested: An extra 10,000 gp is optional for one part of the quest. Bring good food for the final battle. Monsters: Worm brain (level 2), Giant Rat (level 3), Ghosts (level 19), Zombies (level 24), Skeletons (level 25), Melzar the Mad (level 43), Lesser Demons (level 82), Elvarg the Dragon (level 83). NPC: Champions Guild Master, Oziach, Oracle, Klarense, Ned, Duke Horacio Walkthrough Hide/Show: 1: To start off To start off, talk to the guild master in the Champions guild. Ask him about obtaining a Rune Plate mail, he will tell you that he has a friend, Oziach who can help you out with one. He can be found in a small hut just left of the entrance to Edgeville. He will tell you that you may be in the Champions but you may not be worthy of the title "Hero". He will set you off on a quest to kill the green dragon Elvarg on Crandor Isle. You will need to collect 3 map pieces in order to get to the isle. Return to the Champion's Guild, where the Guild Master will give you the key to Melzar's Maze. Ask the Guild Master all the questions you can in order to be able to proceed through the quest. You may want to drop the key and get a second one from him - some players like to train in the Maze. 2: The first map piece By far the hardest, bring maybe a couple of lobbies if you are low level as you need to fight a level 43 and level 82 lesser demon here. This is basically south west of Falador (north west of Rimmington). Make sure you have the key the guild master gave you. Click here to see theMelzar's Maze Map Make your way in and start killing some rats till you get a red key. Then go into the door in the north west corner and go up the ladder. Now you should be in a room with ghosts, kill them till you get the orange key. Then go though the door 2nd from the left, then up the ladder.- to Melzar the mad Keep killing skeletons until you get a yellow key and go into the most SW door, then follow the corridor around, then down the ladder. Kill some zombies till you get the blue key and go through the door leading to Melzar the mad (most Northern door). He will say all sorts of weird things but kill him and then go through the door leading to the Lesser Demon. The last part of the map can be collected! Kill the lesser and collect your green key. Go through the door and search the chest to get the map piece. If you die in the maze, you can talk to Oziach again about the first map piece to get another key and try again. 3: The second map piece For this you need: Unfired bowl (use soft clay on potters wheel - see crafting guide), Wizard's mind bomb (obtainable in Falador pub for 3 gp), Lobster pot (Port Sarim fishing shop 20 gp), and a piece of silk (Al-Kharid for 3 gp). Once you have all of that, go and speak with the Oracle on Ice Mountain, and then take the items down to the Dwarven Mine and use each on the door to the room in the north east corner, just before you go into the scorpion room. Enter the room and search the chest and voilá, another piece down and 1 to go. 4: The third map piece Right let's do the easiest first. There are two ways of getting this. The first is the hardest, but by far the cheapest. Go to the Port Sarim jail. You can either kill Wormbrain with magic or with range. Then use the Telekinetic grab spell on the piece of map he drops. If you're only level 31 magic you can drink an extra Wizard's mind bomb, which can be bought from the Falador bar, to get your magic high enough for the Telekinetic grab spell. If this is all too much effort for you or if your magic level is too low, you can simply buy the map for 10,000gp from Wormbrain. 5: Obtaining a boat Firstly you will need 3 planks (spawn on Entrana), 90 steel nails, hammer, and 2000 gp. Talk to the guy Klarense at the very end of Port Sarim harbour and offer to buy the boat; he will ask for 2k gp. A boat for 2k gold? BARGAIN! Oh, one problem - it's got a big hole in it. To get the planks you need to go to level 17 wilderness by the graveyard, or if you're a member, you can go to Entrana (speak to any Monk on the dock south of the pub in Port Sarim) or to the Barbarian Outpost where you'll find 4 respawns. If you have a Games Necklace, you can teleport there quickly. For the nails you need to smith 6 steel bars into nails, or buy them from another player (members may buy them from the Sawmill Operator north east of Varrock). Now go back to your boat and patch it up with your hammer and materials. 6: Preparation Before you go to Draynor, use the three map pieces with each other, and you'll have a full map. Now go to Draynor and find Ned the Fisherman and ask him if he will take you to Crandor. He will say yes and he will meet you at the boat. Plan on using your Home teleport to Lumbridge, or take the required runes for a teleport or an item that lets you teleport as the only way off the island is through Red Deadly spiders or dead. Oh, and take some cooked lobsters eh? Also, remember a good one-handed weapon (NOT a 2h nor a regular bow), and a dragonfire shield (you can get this from Duke Horacio upstairs in Lumbridge castle). So go to your boat and off you go. 7: Slaying the dragon You will crash into rocks when you stop and your boat will be ruined, so don't plan on taking it back. Click here to see theCrandor Island Map Get off the boat and make your way past all the dangers and into the dungeon. You'll be at the northern end of the dungeon. Click here to see theKaramja Volcano Dungeon Map Go ahead and into the fray of the green dragon's lair. He will hit no more than 13 on people with 40-45 defence (using the dragonfire shield, that is!) Just use the tactic, run heal attack over and over and you'll eventually win. The dragon uses long range fire breaths, so ranging or maging it isn't recommended, at least without wearing the anti-dragon shield. If you happen to die during the fight, you have to fix the boat to sail off away. Because of that it's recommended to go look for the secret door before fighting the dragon if you're not sure that you can beat the dragon.Returning later When you've killed the beast, you automatically cut of its head. Then, you can just run south through the Lesser Demons (level 82), and go out south through the "odd looking wall". You can now return through this wall at any time. When you get to the Deadly red spiders (level 34)(don't keeping walking south into more demons), head east towards the gold rocks and then south to the dangling climbing rope, where you can climb out. The isle is good for training higher levels; the lessers and skeletons are good experience. After you escape the dragon's lair, you must take the head to Oziach to prove you have killed it. Reward: 18,650 Strength and 18,650 Defence xp. Ability to wear Rune platebody and green dragonhide body armour. Quest points gained on completion: 2 Tips, tricks & notes: With the Construction update P2P players may obtain planks and nails from the Sawmill. made by:Ali chelsea7 and Smile adiga

demon slayer

Difficulty level: Medium Start location: This quest starts in the center of Varrock market. Head over to the blue and white striped tent and talk to the gypsy inside. She will ask you for some money, only 1 gold, to get your palm read. She will then tell you that you are the chosen one, the one who will save the whole of Varrock from a mega demon called Delrith who, whilst alive, nearly destroyed Varrock 150 years ago! She tells you of a special sword named Silverlight, the only sword powerful enough to defeat Delrith. Also note the proper incantation the gypsy tells you when asking how Wally killed the demon. Required: Items: 1 gp, bucket/jug of water (bucket can be obtained in quest), 25 normal bones (cannot be noted) Monsters: Delrith NPC: Gypsy (Varrock), Sir Prysin (Varrock Palace), Captain Rovin (Varrock Palace), Wizard Traiborn (Wizards Tower) Walkthrough Hide/Show: Click here to view thecondensed version of this guide 1: Acquiring the sword: Go north from the tent into the castle, if you go a little North-west you will see a man named Sir Prysin, the person who is supposed to have Silverlight. He explains the Silverlight situation to you and sets you off on a quest to find 3 keys. 2: The First Key The easiest of all, go to the NW corner of the castle and go up the staircase twice, talk to Captain Rovin and he will eventually give you the key. 3: The Second Key Go to the castle kitchen (northeast corner) and go through the door to the courtyard and just to left of the exit you will see a drain. You will need a bucket of water, you can find a bucket by climbing the stairs in the kitchen, use the bucket on the kitchen sink to fill it with water. Use the bucket/jug (with water in it) on the drain and the key will fall into Varrock sewers. To get to the sewers, it's the (!) symbol on the map, east of the castle. The key is on the North-western path. Note: There is a bucket respawn just upstairs above the palace kitchen. 4: The Third key: For this one, you must make your way to the Wizards Tower, which is south-southeast of Draynor Village. Stop at the bank to get your 25 bones (or kill any easy monster like Chickens or Goblins to get them), as these are needed to get the third and final key. Once there, go up the stairs and talk to wizard Traiborn. You can also fight the wizards in the area for bones. 5: The Fight: After you have gotten all three keys make your way back to Varrock castle and talk to Sir Prysin and he will give you the Silverlight Sword. Now make your way to south of Varrock (you should see a stone circle) recite the incantation (this varies for every player) and fight Delrith. Reward: Silverlight Sword. Quest points gained on completion: 3 Tips, tricks & notes: If you lose Silverlight after completing the quest, you can purchase another from Sir Prysin for 500 gp. If you forgot the incantation, you can go back the fortune teller and ask her for it. made by:Ali chelsea7 and Smile adiga

fist of guthix

Overview Introduction:Fist of Guthix is a free and members player versus player minigame. Rather than the traditional "first one to kill their opponent wins" style of play, tactics must be used to ensure victory over your opponent. In the game you are either the hunter or the hunted, each needing to do opposite things to gain 'charges' and win. These roles will be explained later on. Getting ThereThe cave to the Fist of Guthix is located under the wildnerness, just North of Varrock. Once you enter the cave you will need to speak to Fiara, the huge earwig in the cave, to learn how to play. After you have spoken to her you may get a bar that appears at the bottom of the screen stating that a cerain item you are carrying cannot be taken into the cave. There is a banker located near Fiara that you can put the contraband items in. Once you have done that, it's time to play!
Equipment: The only equipment that is permitted into the playing arena are weapons and armour. Note that there is a lot of running around involved in this game, so heavy metal armour which would give excellent protection, may slow you down. Choose your setup wisely! Note also that runes are provided for you in the game, and also ranged ammo will be returned to you.
The Hunter When you first enter the arena you will notice a box on the top right which will look like either of these: If you are the Hunter, then you have an easy job - track down your opponent and kill them! Your enemy will likely run around the huge circular area, trying to avoid your gaze so try to track them down with a logical path. If you find yourself running around the edges and can't seem to find them, try running to the centre every now and then to make sure their not right in the middle, gaining huge charges. Another useful tactic may be to stay near the centre so that your opponent can't gain lot of charges. Whichever tactic you wish to use, just make sure to kill your enemy.
The Hunted If you are the Hunted you have a slightly harder job to do. The first thing to do is to pick up a nearby stone and equip it so that you start to gain charges (the stone is two handed and you cannot fight back when it is equipped). The nearer to the centre of the arena you go the bigger number of charges you gain, but also take more damage and have even more reduced stats. To help you avoid your opponent once they have spotted you there are safe huts with portals near the centre of the arena.
Entering these damages you, but once inside you are invisible to the enemy. The portals in them teleport you to another random hut around the arena - which is useful for throwing off your enemy. Note that you can only enter these huts every 20 seconds. The only spells which can be used when you are the Hunted are the Vengeance, Cure Poison and Dream spells. If you manage to kill the hunter, they will simply respawn at the edge of the arena again, ready to try kill you again. The player with the most charges after you have played as both roles is declared the winner and is awarded with some Fist of Guthix tokens and a rating.

black knight fortress walkthrough

Difficulty level: Medium Start location: Falador, in the White knight's Castle. The black knights are up to no good. You are hired by the White Knights to spy on them and uncover their evil scheme. Required: Skills: Have 12 quest points. Items: Cabbage (from anywhere except Draynor village), Iron chainbody, Bronze med helm Monsters: Black Knights (Level 33) NPC: Sir Amik Varze (upstairs in the western tower of the White Knights' Castle in Falador). Walkthrough 1: Before approaching the castle Obtain an iron chainmail (can be bought from Wayne's Chains in south Falador) and a bronze medium helmet (helmet shop in the Barbarian Village or Draynor Manor respawn). Then go to the monastery (north west of the Barbarian Village) and take a few cabbages from their cabbage patch (you actually only need one, but you might accidentally eat it, it happens to a lot of people!) Next go to the Black Knights' Castle - it's at the base of Ice mountain, on the north eastern side.2: The element of disguise The front door is locked so you need to use the side door - the Guards' entrance. Put on your iron chain and bronze medium helmet and they don't suspect a thing :)3: Finding out about the secret plot The Castle is pretty complicated, so I'll direct you through. Upon entering, push your way through the fake wall directly in front of you. Go up two ladders and you'll find yourself on the wall walk (roof.) Go down the other ladder, through the door to the east and then up and down the next two ladders to get over the fence. You're now in the altar room. Go out through the door onto the balcony and quickly down the ladder so the knight doesn't hurt you too much. Sneak along the secret passageway and listen at the ventilation grill. You discover that the Black Knights are brewing up an invincibility potion, but that you can save the day by plopping the cabbage you've collected into the cauldron.4: Spoiling the potion Go all the way back to the door from which you entered, and this time go through the door to your east, move quickly up the ladder onto the outer wall. Proceed around the corner and push your way through another wall. Now, RIGHT CLICK on the cabbage and 'use' it on the hole in the floor. Make sure you don't eat it, or you'll have to go and get another.5: Finishing the quest. You chuck the cabbage down the hole, the potion froths and bubbles, and the potion is ruined. Go and talk to Sir Varze again and he'll reward you for your bravery.
